Cardaras Funeral Home - Glouster

With a longstanding history in the Glouster community, Cardaras Funeral Home unites the traditions of personal and professional funeral services with decades of experience and compassion.

The history of the current location of the Cardaras Funeral Home dates back to the 1930's, when owner Charles Wallace opened the doors of the Wallace Funeral Home. Austin Wiley took ownership of the home in the 1950's, followed by James VanFossen in the 1960's. VanFossen consolidated Glouster's two funeral homes and operated the business for over a decade, during which time he employed a young Van Cardaras eager to learn the business in his hometown. Byron Guinther acquired the home from VanFossen in 1978, and in 1989 Van Cardaras purchased the home from Guinther.

For well over a decade, Cardaras Funeral Home has provided the highest quality services at affordable prices to the families of Glouster--a tradition that will continue for many years to come.
