Glen W. "Hammer" Russell

Glen W. "Hammer" Russell, 52, of Nelsonville, formerly of Glouster, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at his residence. He was born August 27, 1959 in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Wilford A. and Wahnetta Jewell Russell. Glen was married to the late Tara Toth Russell.

He worked for Harley Davidson.

Glen is survived by his sons, Scott Russell of Millfield and Kyle Russell of Sugar Grove; daughters, Stacy McKee of Sugar Grove and Alexis Russell of Nelsonville; six grandchildren; brothers, Andrew, Jack and Bill Russell all of Glouster; sisters, Tammy Roberts of Glouster and Jackie Taylor of Canal Winchester and his fiancé Beverly Chaney.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Jago and stepfather, Jack Andrew Russell.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster, with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Interment will be in Glouster Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5-8 P.M.
