Imogene Wallace

Imogene Wallace, 76, of Logan, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2003, at her residence. She was born January 17, 1927, in Starr, Ohio, daughter of the late Eliphalet and Laura McClurg Eggleston. She was the widow of the late Lester E. Wallace.

She retired from Hocking Valley Community Hospital in 1989 as a nurse. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by 1 son, Greg Jane Michl Wallace of Logan; 1 daughter Kathleen Steve Freeman of Grand Rapids MI.; 6 grandchildren, Nathan Kerry Freeman of Chicago, Bethany Chuck Willis of Holland MI, Tessa and Tyler Freeman of Grand Rapids MI, Christa Blair Steward of London, OH, and Stacy Wallace of Logan; 2 brothers Ercle Audrey Eggleston of Nelsonville, and Donald Charlotte Eggleston of Logan; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by 4 sisters Faye Groves, Alice Eggleston, Margaret Ruggles and Pat Lutz.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2003, 1:00 p.m. at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, with Rev. James Mathias officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
