Estella M. Savage

Estella M. Savage, 88, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at O?Bleness Hospital, Athens. She was born February 16, 1915, in Johnstown PA the daughter of the late William T. and Orianna Clingan Metheny. She is widow of the late Walter Savage.

She was the former business owner of Walt?s Place in Beaumont, OH and Stella?s in Jacksonville. A lifetime member of the Jacksonville V.F.W. Post 9866 , Chauncey Amvets Post 53, and Jacksonville Eagles Post 1034.

She is survived by 2 sons Walter ?Terry? Nancy Savage of Athens and David Kaye Savage of Athens; 2 daughters Donna Martin of Florida and Maureen Savage of The Plains; 15 grandchildren; 29 gr. grandchildren; 10 gr. gr. grandchildren; 1 sister Olive Renner of Lynhurst, OH; special friends Tom Janet Courtney of Jacksonville and Francis Nogrady of Jacksonville; numerous special nieces and nephews;

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 son Milton Savage.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2003, at 7:00 PM, at Cardaras Funeral Home, Glouster with Rev. Gary Alton officiating.
