Howard E. Wine

Howard E. Wine, 76, of Logan, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2003 at Logan Health Care Center. He was born March 12, 1927 the son of the late Rancie and Gladys Forrest Wine. He was married to Virginia Mercer Wine of Logan for 58 years.
He was a member of the Maxville Fire Department for many years and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Kay Mike Mercer of Logan, two sons, Bill Sharon Wine of Maxville, Bob Debbie Wine of New Plymouth, six grandchildren, Clint Mercer, Kim Robert Martinez, Amy Brian Tootle, Jason Hicks, Sheri Jackson, Katie Wine, Great granddaughter, Delaney Tootle, and one brother, Junior June Wine of South Bloomingville.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry R. Wine, one brother, John Wine and one sister, Anis O'Harra.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan with Rev. Scott Huffines officiating. Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Veterans Burial Detail of Hocking County. Friends may call Tuesday, June 24, 2003 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
