Gail V. Barber

Gail V. Barber, 77, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2003 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. She was born December 12, 1925 in Nelsonville the daughter of the late Melvin C. and Mildred M. Skivers Bruce.
She was a member of the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by three sons, Melvin Donald Barber, Terry Lee Barber and Michael Lester and Sandra Barber all of California, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a twin brother, Dale Joan Bruce of Logan, four sisters, Juanita Oliver of Haydenville, Madelyn Corwin of Reynoldsburg, Mercedine Warren of Doanville, Florine Bruce of Logan, two brothers-in-law, Max and Jill Barber of McArthur, Hubert and Jenny Barber of Lancaster and special friends, Lois Johnson and Sheryl Gretz both of Nelsonville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Hawk and her ex husband, Donald Barber.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 26, 2003 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call Wednesday, June 25, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
