Pearl ?Peggy? Louise Summers, 67, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at her home in Columbus. She was born October 6, 1935 in Logan. She was the daughter of the late George and Florence Jones Summers.

A native of Logan, she was a 1954 graduate of Logan High School, and served as class secretary. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Columbus and United Fellowship Church in Logan.

She is survived by one sister, Josephine Summers of Logan, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers, Lester, Bob, Bill, Merle, and Burl; five sisters, Marie, Margaret, Mary, Dorothy, and Virginia.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 7, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan with the Rev. King Kelly officiating.

In this life, God didn?t promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain. But He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way. Sadly missed?
