Bearl A. Ronk
Bearl A. Ronk, 81, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, July 17th, 2003 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati. He was born October 24th, 1922 in Huntington, West Virginia. He is preceded in death by his father Leander and mother Ulrica Hedrick Ronk. He was married to Opal King Cullums Ronk of Jacksonville.
He attended the Evangelizing for Jesus Worship Center in Guysville, Ohio, and was the former owner and operator of the Last Lodge Resort and Restaurant in Somerset, Kentucky. Bearl made picnic tables and swing sets in Jacksonville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by brothers Leander ?Buddy? Loretta Ronk of Nedd, KY, and James Jennie Ronk of Ariton, Alabama; Sisters Wilma Lavada Campbell of Williamsport, TN, and Dee Don Miller of Coolville; many neices and nephews.
Bearl was preceded in death by his brothers Victor and Manford Ronk, sister Emmalie Ronk, and his first wife, Letha Bullock Ronk.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 22nd, 2003 at Heck Funeral Home, 1007 Smith, Milton, West Virginia with Don and Dee Miller officiating. Interment will be at Ronk cemetery, Cabell County, West Virginia. Friends may call Monday, July 21st, 2000 from 6-8 PM at Cardaras Funeral Home, Glouster, and from 12-2 PM on Tuesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, West Virginia.
