Helen Swyers

Helen M. Swyers, 91, of Parrish, Florida, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1911 in Jobs, the daughter of the late Warden and Bessie Saylor Rummer. She was the widow of the late Leo C. Swyers, who passed away September 28, 1993.

She is survived by a daughter, Johann and Richard Tirohn of Parrish, Florida, three grandchildren, Gary and Debbie Tirohn of Rochester, New York, Karen and Don Warda of Alden, New York, Ken and Mary Tirohn of Buffalo and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband Leo, she was also preceded in death by her sisters Iris Radcliff and Ada Fields.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 24, 2003 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville with Pastor Paul Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Sunday at the funeral home.
