Wilma Rose Brown

Wilma Rose Brown, 95, passed away Friday, August 22, 2003 at Doctors Hospital Nelsonville. She was born June 14, 1908 in Athens County, the daughter of the late Watson and Ivy Whitlatch Hill. She was the widow of the late Weldon E. ?Brownie? Brown.

She is survived by a son, Ralph and Mary Brown of Athens, two grandsons, Jeff and Michell Brown of Nelsonville and Melvin and Brenda Brown of Athens and three great grandchildren, John, Amy and Ray Brown.

In addition to her parents and husband, a sister, Ella Sanner, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville with Rev. David Cogar officiating. Burial will be at McDougal Cemetery, Athens County. Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 25, 2003 at the funeral home.
