Virgene Davis

Virgene Davis, 85 of Logan died August 25, 2003 at her residence. She was born August 6, 1918 in Athens Co., daughter of the late James and Gertrude Freeman Mace. She was the widow of the late Eugene Davis who died April 2, 1998.

She was a member of Immanuel U.M. Church in Logan for over 50 years, a volunteer at Hocking Valley Community Hospital for 15 years and a Hocking Co. Poll volunteer for 25 years.

She is survived by 1 son James E. Cheryl Davis of Pompano Beach, Fl., 1 grandson Eric Cathy Davis of Oak Ridge, N.C., 2 great grandsons Nathaniel Eugene and Timothy James Davis.

1 half brother, William Driscoll of Tallahassee, Fl. and 1 Half Sister Elsie Driscoll of Laguna, Calif.

She was preceded in death by 1 sister Doris Moody.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Thursday in the Immanuel U.M. Church, Logan with Rev. Gerald Frazee officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8PM at the Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan and on Thursday at the church 1 hour prior to the services. .
