Garry Lee Mount, 54, of Logan, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 6, 2003, at his residence.
He was born November 12, 1948, in Logan, son of Raymond Arthur and Edith Mae Michel Mount of Logan. He was married to Marlene Sue McGlothlin Mount of Logan for 36 years.
Garry was formerly employed by Goodyear and Logan Foundry. He was also a member of the Ohio Big Buck Club and Union Furnace United Methodist Church. Garry was also an avid golfer and hunter. The Mount family would like to thank Hospice of Fairfield County for all of their help.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Lisa Jeff Snider of Rockbridge and Missy Israel Mohler of Logan; three grandchildren, Josh and Emily Snider and Coleman Mohler; one brother, Mike Mount of Logan; Father and Mother-in-law, Max and Ruth McGlothlin of Logan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, with the Rev. Bill Sheplar, officiating. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Union Furnace United Methodist Church Youth Fund P.O. Box 36 Union Furnace, Ohio 43158.
