George I. Howdyshell

George I. Howdyshell, 93 of Lancaster, passed away Sunday September 14, 2003 at Lanfair Center, Lancaster. He was born January 12, 1910 in Perry County, the son of the late Wayland J. and Effie Ann Tucker Howdyshell. He was the husband of the late Ruth Beerman Howdyshell.

He was retired from Diamond Power Specialty Corporation. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Lancaster.

He is survived by 1 son, Ronald Carol Howdyshell of Florence, Alabama; 1 daughter Marlene L. Osterhoudt of Tavares, Florida; 4 grandchildren; 8 gr. grandchildren; and 1 brother, Loren Evelyn Howdyshell of Logan.

He is preceded in death by 1 brother, Judson Howdyshell.

Private graveside services were held Tuesday September 16, 2003 at Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County, with Rev. Steve Hubbard officiating. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan.

A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
