Myles Kenneth Stump Sr.

Myles Kenneth Stump Sr., 67, of New Marshfield, passed away Wednesday, September 17th, 2003 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born November 6th, 1935 in Athens, Ohio, the son of the late George and Hazel Drain Stump. He was married to Verna Stump, who survives.

Myles was a veteran of the United States Army, and was employed as a union painter.

Myles is survived by a son, Myles Stump Jr., of New Marshfield, daughters Sheila John Perry of New Marshfield, Shelby Savely of Logan, Becky Chris Cocordle of Lancaster, and Tammy Dale Timberlake of New Marshfield, seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, brothers Edmond and Charles, and a sister Rosemond passed away previously.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 20th, 2003 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home in Nelsonville. Burial will be at New Marshfield cemetery where military graveside service will be conducted by the combined color guard unit. Friends may call Friday, September 19th from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
