Ruth E. Marstiller

Ruth E. Marstiller, 76, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, October 14th, 2003 at O?Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. She was born April 25th, 1927 in Athens County, the daughter of the late Ronald ?Skinny? and Mary Lewis Marstiller. She was the stepdaughter of Theda Marstiller.

She was retired from G.E. after 37 years of faithful work as a glass inspector, was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church, a member of the G.E. retiree?s club, and was a member of the Buchtel class of 1947 reunion committee. Ruth was an avid world traveler.

Ruth is survived by four sisters, Dixie Charles Stump, Sylvia Ralph Coffey, Kay Glen Landrum all of Nelsonville, and Linda Marstiller of Newark, Uncle Delbert Marstiller of Westerville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 18th, 2003 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville. Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery in Athens County. Friends may call Friday, October 17th, 2003 from 6-8 P.M. the funeral home.
