Helen Shaw Kitchen

Helen Shaw Kitchen passed away on Monday, November 3, 2003 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. Born in Falls Township, Hocking County on September 30, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. Shaw and Augusta Hamilton Shaw.

Mrs. Kitchen was married for 65 years to the late Howard N. Kitchen. She was employed at the Godman Shoe Company and retired from Logan Construction as a bookkeeper.Mrs. Kitchen was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and D. of A. Lodge.

She is survived by five grandchildren, Cindy Davidson Craig of Plant City, FL, Howard G. Kitchen, Douglas Kitchen Misti, Kathy Kitchen, and Amy Wells Doug all of Logan and six great grandchildren, Breanna and Alyssa Kitchen, James and Conner Wells, and Whitney and Garrett Clark. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Bette Kitchen.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her two sons, Keith and Larry Kitchen and daughter-in-law, Sylvia Kitchen. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Blum and Ruth Brandt.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, with Rev. Rick Bennington officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-7 P.M
