David G. Might, 62, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, November 12th, 2003 at Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville, the result of a tragic automobile accident. He was born April 13th, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Godfrey and Carolyn Heading Might, and the husband of Jean Gurtler Might.

David attended the Fairfield Christian Church in Lancaster, was an avid pilot, and loved the peacefulness of the Southeastern Ohio hills. He was a retired, self employed businessman, and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.

David is survived by three sons, Jeff Chase of Pleasantville, Greg Might of Nelsonville, and Sergeant Chris Ute Might of Fort Bliss, Texas, two daughters, Laura J.B. Jones of Bexley, Gina Chase of San Diego, California, six grandchildren, sister Ruth David Delpino of Bowie, Maryland, Niece Jeanette Ellisor of Columbus, and cousin, Tim Steiner of Colchester, Vermont.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Might.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 17th, 2003 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. at Union Cemetery in Columbus, where military rites will be performed. Friends may call Sunday, November 16th, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
