Clara Irene Brunk

Clara Irene Brunk, 82, of Carbon Hill, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2003.
She was born June 26, 1921 to William and Anna Powell Hartman in Elida, OH. She was married December 2, 1945 to Norman H. Brunk, who preceded her in death October 23, 1987.
She is survived by her children: Nolan Barbara Brunk of Parsonsburg, MD, Sharon William Renno of Danville, PA, Wesley Nancy Brunk of Carbon Hill, Wendall Janet Brunk of Delmar, DE, Patricia Titus Miller of Chimaltenango, Guatemala, and Elaine Brunk of Carbon Hill, with whom she made her home; 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brothers Marvin Annie Hartman of Lima, OH, and Robert Rhoda Hartman of Kidron, OH, brother-in-law Chester Good and sister-in-law Mildred Hartman of Elida, OH, sister-in-law Martha Brunk Showalter of Harrisonburg, VA.
Besides her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son David Lee Brunk in 1965 and an infant son, brother Edwin Hartman and sister Ruby Good.
She was a member of the Carbon Hill Mennonite Church, where her late husband served as deacon until his death.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the United Pentecostal Church, 785 Jackson St., Nelsonville, OH with John Brunk, Larry Showalter, and William Bear officiating. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan, OH on Saturday from 6-8 PM and on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Monday at the church one hour prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carbon Hill Mennonite Church School Building Fund, P.O. Box 68, Carbon Hill, OH 43111.
