Virginia Ione Heebink

Virginia Ione Heebink, 83, of Rockbridge, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2003, at Lanfair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster. She was born April 19, 1920, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Ivan and Hazel June Allen Mikesell. She is survived by her husband Kenneth George Heebink of Rockbridge.

Virginia was a retired Mental Health Administrator for Contra Costa, Co. California.

She is survived by a son, Dennis Susan Heebink of Rockbridge; Six grandchildren; and Seven great grandchildren.

A daughter Barbara June Heebink precedes her in death.

Private family services will be held at a later date in California. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan.

At the family?s request contributions may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Fund of Central Ohio in honor of her granddaughter Benaye Barbara Cook.
