Cecil Mcglothlin

Cecil McGlothlin, 74, of Union Furnace, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 14, 2003, at OSU Medical Center, Columbus. He was born October 17, 1929, in Meigs Co., son of the late Harry and Alma Grate McGlothlin. He was married to Betty R. Sheets McGlothlin, who survives, for 51 years.

Cecil was a retired oil well driller, attended Coonville Holiness Church, a member of the Logan Moose Lodge and a member of the Logan Eagles.

He is survived by 1 son, Randy Mary Ann McGlothlin of Cincinnati, 3 daughters Rita Dean Reinschell of Logan, Nita Glenn Wollett of New Plymouth, Crystal Max Malone Jr. of Union Furnace, 4 grandchildren Carl Wollett, Stacy Wollett, Karen McGlothlin Troxell, Betty K. McGlothlin, 2 great grandchildren Hank and Shiann Troxell, 3 step grandchildren Belinda, Kyle and Kirsten Henderson, 1 brother Max McGlothlin of Logan, 2 sisters Leda Lambert and Norma Sprouse both of Union Furnace.

A sister Mary Belle Cherry precedes him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday December 18, 2003 at the Coonville Holiness Church with Rev. James R. Mathias officiating. Entombment will be at New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call on Wednesday December 17, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan and Thursday 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
