Dolores N. Gordon

Dolores N. Gordon, 86, of The Lindley Inn, The Plains, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at O?Bleness Hospital in Athens. She was born May 23, 1917 in Nelsonville, Ohio the daughter of the late Wayne and Jenny Huddy Bumgardner. She was the widow of her two husbands, Gerald ?Dick? Hannahs and Edmond Gordon.

Dolores was a retired operator for the Ohio Bell Telephone company in Nelsonville.

She is survived by two sons, Jack Libby Hannahs of Longwood Florida, and Jim Sandra Hannahs of Sierra Vista, Arizona, a daughter Jane Tim Stepps of Belle Chase, Louisiana, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and sisters Ann Nixon and Eileen Birchfield, both of Nelsonville.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother Max Bumgardner, and sisters Marie Dixon and Vergene Cyrus.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 26, 2003 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville with Pastor Stacy Evans officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville. Friends may call Friday, December 26, 2003 from 9-11 A.M. at the funeral home.
