Charles Edgar Auflick

Charles Edgar Auflick, 96, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. He was born April 19, 1907 in Nelsonville the son of the late James Sr. and Cora Arnold Auflick.

He was retired from the Kimberly Coal Mine.

He is survived by one sister, Rachel Ossman of Elyria and many nieces nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Leora Hunley Auflick and his Second wife, Vernice Wolf Auflick, four sisters, Elizabeth Loudner, Anna Wilson, Hazel Burch and Gertrude Fisk, four brothers, Robert, James Jr., Emanuel and George Auflick and an infant brother, Leroy Auflick.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Monday, January 2, 2004 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
