Eldon H. ?Sonny? McKee

Eldon H. ?Sonny? McKee, 75, of Carbon Hill, passed away Monday, February 23, 2004 in Crawfordville, Florida. He was born July 18th, 1928 in Buchtel, Ohio, the son of the late Hershel and Ester McMannaway McKee.

Sonny was a master mechanic and worked as an underground tunnel supervisor with Rocko Ferro and Company, and Demanbro and Mancini Corporation as a supervisor. He was a member of the Local #334 of Detroit, Michigan.

He is survived by two sons, Scott Brenda McKee of Carbon Hill, Carl McKee of Buckeye Lake, two daughters, Lesa Skip Exline of Florida, and Carol McKee of California, grandchildren Erik and Zakery Shaffer, Michael Exline, Derrick Stephanie Exline, Terry Brandi Smith, Robert and Scotty McKee, Nellie Jeremiah Peters, Amanda William Squires, and Jamie Exline, great grandchildren, Kallee and Chase Smith, Taylor and Collan Squires, Brittany and Jody Exline, and Mikala and Madie Exline, sister Lillian Merritt of Oregon, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Lou Phillips McKee.

At the family?s wishes, cremation has taken place in Florida. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 13th, 2004 at Cardaras Funeral Home, Glouster, 30 Main Street. 740-767-2811 In-Urnment will be at Maplewood Cemetery.
