William Thomas ?Tim? Adams


William Thomas ?Tim? Adams, 63, of Athens, passed away Thursday, February 26th, 2004 at Kimes Convalescent Center in Athens. He was born October 19, 1940 in Nelsonville, the son of Bill Adams and the late Mary Shelton Adams.



Tim was a self employed carpenter, was a member of the Carpenter?s Union Local #104, the Shamrock athletic club, The National Rifle Association, the Fairborn Little league and Babe Ruth League baseball clubs, the National Tractor Pullers Association, and the Ohio Tractor Pullers Association.



He is survived by three sons, Tim Kim Adams of Liberty Township, and Todd and Tad Adams, both of Fairborn, father Bill Adams of New Marshfield, former wife Brenda Woofter Adams of Fairborn, five grandchildren, Jessica, Clayton, Madison, Courtney, and Ryan, one brother, Ted Gloria Adams of McArthur, two sisters, Nancy Adams of New Marshfield, and Elaine Dave Blanken of Springfield.



Memorial contributions in Tim?s memory may be made to the American Stroke Association at 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas, 75231.



At Tim?s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 6th, 2004 at Kimes Convalescent Center, 75 Kimes Drive, Athens, Ohio 45701. Arrangements are being handled by Souers-Cardaras Funeral home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville, Ohio. 740-753-1989
