Loretta Mae Mcglaughlin

Loretta Mae McGlaughlin, 86, of Glouster, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at Kimes Convalescent Center, Athens. She was born March 24, 1917 in Glouster, daughter of the late Frank and Essa Thompson Cairelli.

She was a member of the Glouster United Methodist Church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the TB Hospital in Nelsonville and retired from the Athens Mental Health Center, Athens.

She is survived by 2 brothers James Cairelli of Glouster and Louis Betty Cairelli of Westerville 2 sisters Eileen Paul Dale of Beaver Creek, Ohio and Betty Poches of Jacksonville 3 step daughters Linda Jack Walton of Wellston, Emily Richard Stephens of Otto, North Carolina and Sara McLain of Evans City, Pennsylvania, 4 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Sidney McGlaughlin, 1sister Mary Edwards, 1 brother Albert Cairelli 1 brother in law Alex Poches, 1 stepson James McLain and 2 nephews Ronald and Michael Poches.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 20, 2004 Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main Street, Glouster with Rev. Hal Keeton officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, March 19, 2004 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
