Edna M. Grubic

Edna M. Grubic, 70, of Glouster, formerly of Arlington, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 20th, 2004 at Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville. She was born May 6th, 1933 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of the late Anthony D. and Frances Hamlin Sweeney. She was married to Richard Grubic for 50 wonderful years, who survives.

She was a member of The Athens Bible Church.

In addition to her husband, Edna is survived by one son, David P. Tory Grubic of Silver Spring, Maryland, three grandchildren, Noah, Hellen, and Amy Grubic, one brother, Tommy Sweeney, and a sister, Elaine Meyers, of Oakton, Virginia

In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by one grandchild, Jessica Grubic.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 23rd, 2004 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main Street, Glouster, with Reverend William Hixon officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call Monday, March 22nd, 2004 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
