Beatrice L. Vanaman

Beatrice L. Braglin Vanaman 96 of Logan died March 29, 2004 in Arcadia Acres Nursing Home in Logan. She was born February 2, 1908 in Athens Co., son of the late James and Zelma Wilson Roach. Beatrice was a retired nurses aid from the Athens Mental Health Center, and a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by a son Jimmie Marlene E. Braglin of Logan and a step son Jim Darlene Vanaman of Rutland. Two grandchildren Jeanette Richard Johnson and Jay Connie Braglin all of Logan. Two Step Grandchildren Vince Michele Vanaman and Morgan Autumn Vanaman all of Rutland. She also has five great grandchildren. She has one brother Wayne Thelma Roach and a sister Erma Warren all of Logan.

Beatrice was preceded in death by two husbands Joseph H. Braglin and Nathan Vanaman, sisters Ida Mae Roach, Inez Roach, Christina Godfrey, and Phyllis Vickroy, brothers Jimmie, Harvey, Leonard, and Rolland Roach.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday in the Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan with Rev. Ralph Cordel officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call in Thursday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
