Frank Nogrady

Frank ?Fats? Nogrady, 88, of The Plains, formerly of Glouster, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2004 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, The Plains. He was born May 31, 1915 in Athens County the son of the late Daniel and Teresa Dunch Nogrady.

He was retired from the Los Angeles, California Post Office after 39 years. He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by three nieces, Barbara Pete Evener, Patricia Fred Cunningham both of Chauncey and Julia Dunn of Detroit, MI, three nephews, David Jane Nogrady of Chauncey, Joe Mildred Nogrady and Alex Linda Nogrady both of Detroit and a sister-in-law, Frances Nogrady of Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, three nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main Street, Glouster, with Rev. Stephen Bentley officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call Tuesday, April 6, 2004 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
