Douglas A. Flannery

Douglas A. Flannery, 57, of Rockbridge, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. He was born February 20, 1947, in Fullerton, Kentucky, son of the late Glenn E. and Beulah Pennington Flannery. He was married to Barbara Allen Flannery of Rockbridge whom he married October 9, 1965.

Douglas was formerly a construction and railroad worker. He attended West Pleasant Hill and Kline Memorial United Methodist Churches and was active in the Emmaus and Chrysalis Communities.

He is survived by two daughters Andrea Richard Enderle of Logan, Amanda Flannery of Rockbridge and her fiancée Doug Bush, two grandchildren Samantha Hope Enderle and R.J. Enderle, two brothers Rev. Glenn Nancy Flannery of Chillicothe and James Peggy Flannery of Ft. Meyers, Florida, two sisters Sandra Gary Dean of Indiana, Pennsylvania and Bess Caldwell of Chillicothe, and beloved pet Jack.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 11:00 AM at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Rev. Glenn Flannery officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday April 13, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
