David D. Higgins Jr.

David D. Higgins Jr., 80, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2004, at his residence.
He was born May 23, 1923, in Walton Wva., son of the late David D. and Elizabeth Jones Higgins Sr.. He was married to Helen Irene Ward Higgins of Mt. Pleasant.
David was on the board of the Jesus is Today?s Hope Food Pantry.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, David A. Higgins of Logan, Paul Davis of Logan and Murl Debra Davis of Logan; two daughters, Patricia Jerry Carmean of Logan and Roxye Brian Walton of Newark; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Sniff of Columbus and Garnett Nelson of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by four brothers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with A.B. Malloy, officiating. Interment will be in New Plymouth Cemetery, New Plymouth.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to services.
