Lucille Nixon

January 16, 1914 — April 22, 2004

Lucille Nixon, 90, of Logan, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home, Logan. She was born January 16, 1914, in New Straitsville, daughter of the late John and Amelia Muth Smith. She was married to the late Clifford Nixon.

Lucille enjoyed quilting, embroidering, and children.

She is survived by one daughter, Ruby Jim Blanton of Logan; two grandchildren, Lisa Kevin Lawrence of Columbus and Donald JoAnn Blanton of New Straitsville; one great grandchild, K.J.; and three step-great grandchildren, Kenny, Jake, and Christi.

Lucille is preceded in death by four brothers William, Harold, Charles and Clyde Smith and one sister, Ruth Snyder.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan. Interment will be in New Straitsville Cemetery, New Straitsville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday April 26, 2004 from 12:00 until the time of service.
