Dorothy V. Ruff

Dorothy V. Ruff 88, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at her residence. She was born November 13, 1915, Hocking County, daughter of the late John and Mary Cordella Helber Hartmann. She was the widow of Porter Ruff.

She is survived by three daughters Betty Jean Fred Emerson of Mason, Ohio, Anita Jane Larry Starling of Logan, and Norma Kay Mitchell Kirby of Washington Courthouse, five grandchildren Teri Campbell, Anjanette Steven Welsh, Matthew Starling, Jared Nola Starling and Eric Kirby, six great grandchildren Christopher and Morgan Welsh, Alicia and Corey Campbell, Benjamin and Lucas Starling, one brothers Lester Alberta Hartmann of Florida, one sister Betty Ruff of Logan.

She is preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2004, 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan with Tom Postle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hocking County Historical Society, 52 North Culver Street, Logan, Ohio 43138.
