Shirley A. Patterson

Shirley A. Patterson, 64, of Haydenville, passed away Tuesday, May 18th, 2004, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born January 20th, 1940, the daughter of the late Sherman and Mary Ann Johnson Logan, and was the wife of Orlando L. Patterson who passed away in 1997.

She is survived by five sons, Raymond Patterson of Haydenville, Rick Tina Patterson of Junction City, Roger Mary Patterson of Haydenville, James Bobbi Patterson of Haydenville, Robert Patterson of Haydenville, 13 grandchildren, four brothers, Worthy Linda Logan, Gilbert Linda Logan, Clarence Logan, and Robert Logan, all of West Virginia, and two sisters, Marie Collins and Emma John Long, both of West Virginia.

In addition to her parents and husband Orlando, Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Larry Lee Patterson, a sister, Peggy Likens, and her best friend and sister- in- law, Kathleen Roush.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at the Wyoma Church in Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia. Burial will be at Henderson Hill Cemetery in Henderson, West Virginia. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville, Ohio, and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
