Violet O. Williams

Violet O. Williams, 93, of Carbon Hill, passed away Monday, May 24, 2004, at Fairfield Medical Center of Lancaster.
She was born July 18, 1910, in Logan, daughter of the late Harry and Mae Eliza Skivers Mills. She is preceded in death by her husband John H. Williams.
She is survived by three sons, Mickey Williams of Carbon Hill, Kenneth Williams of Logan and John Williams of Logan; two daughters, Gloria David Devol of Logan and Donna Bateman of Nelsonville; twenty-one grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; one brother Buddy Mills of Columbus.
She is preceded in death by a son, Keith Williams; a daughter, Joan Amerine; two daughters-in-law, Mariam Williams and Martha Williams; a son-in-law, Ronald Bateman; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with the Rev. Ed True, officiating. Interment will be in Dawley Cemetery, Ward Twp., Hocking Co.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
