Ted Edward Rutter

Ted Edward Rutter, 53, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2004 in Nelsonville. He was born February 12, 1951 in Morgan County the son of Myrtle Marie Nutt Rutter of The Plains and the late Joe Edward Rutter. He was married to Sharon Davenport Rutter of Nelsonville.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by four stepchildren, Theodore Edward West of Stewart, Dawn Miller of The Plains, Angela West of Albany and General West of Nelsonville; eighteen grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry JoMae Rutter of Nelsonville, Joseph Mary Rutter of The Plains and Ace Rutter of Nelsonville; six sisters, Nancy Rutter of New Marshfield, Mary Lou Lasure and Alvira Clarence Spears both of Chauncey, Kathy Allen May of Athens, Gloria Rutter and Ellen Rutter and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a stepson Johnny West.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville. Cremation will take place following the service. Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
