William A. Blair 81, of Logan, passed away Friday, July 2, 2004, at The VA Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born June 5, 1923 in Hocking Co., son of the late James R. and Clara Palmer Blair. He was married to Lucille Hutchinson Blair whom survives.

William was retired from Keynes Brothers Mill, a veteran of the Army serving in WWII and was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and the Logan Eagles.

He is survived by two daughters Linda Lewis Skiver of Laurelville, and Kathy Hutchison of Logan, one grandson Jason Shawn Hutchison of Dayton, five brothers Kenneth Ruby Blair, Lawrence Dorothy Blair, Earl Bonnie Blair, Pearl Vergie Blair all of Logan, and Eugene Audrey Blair of Nelsonville, two sisters Mary William Matthews of Columbus GA and Betty Lee Wildermuth of Logan.

At the request of Mr. Blair, he will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at the family?s convenience.
Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second Street, Logan Ohio 43138.
