Hazel L. Hunley

Hazel L. Hunley, 87, formerly of Nelsonville and Canal Winchester, passed away Monday, July 5, 2004 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. She was born August 16, 1916 in Athens County, the daughter of the late John and Nellie Cheadle Fink. She was the widow of the late Robert Hunley.

She was formerly employed at Nelsonville High School as a cook. She was affiliated with the Coshocton Burt Avenue Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Maryann Hunley of Coshocton and Arthur Hunley of Canal Winchester; one daughter, Rita Bullock of Coshocton; ten grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Shirley Fink of Nelsonville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Johnny Fink and two sisters, Marie Vania and Violet Carroll.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 9, 2004 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Dean Pierce officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call Thursday, July 8, 2004 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
