Lavina Louise Lehman, 71, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, July 19, 2004 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. She was born November 18, 1932 in Haydenville, the daughter of the late George St. Clair and Flossie Hewitt Leffler. She was married to Clarence Calvin Lehman of Nelsonville for 51 years.

She was retired from Brooks shoe factory and she enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by 1 son Calvin William Linda Lehman of Logan, 1 daughter Debra Sue Tobin of Lancaster, 5 grandchildren Audra Mullinax, Jamie Helber, Jonathan Lehman, Tina VanBibber and Troy VanBibber, 5 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Larry Leffler of Gore, Lawrence Leffler of Londonderry and Roy Leffler of Chillicothe, 3 sisters Mary Jo Reeves of Logan, Sonja Kebbler of Mansfield and Patty Parrin of Lancaster.

In addition to her parents, Lavina was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard and Allen and 1 sister Shirley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. Roger Fidler officiating. Interment will be at Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
