Anne Amelia Fouty

Anne Amelia Fouty, 69, of Athens, passed away Friday, August 27th, 2004 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born July 16th, 1935 in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late George and Edna Windle Arnold. She was married to Noah J. Fouty, who survives.

She was a lifetime member of the VFW women's auxiliary in The Plains, and a two time past president of the Emblem Club in Nelsonville

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Ann Fouty of Athens, a brother Charles R. Arnold of Nelsonville, two sisters, Elaine C. Savely of Nelsonville and Judy Sheppard of Port Clinton

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by two brothers, George ?Jim? Arnold, Guy E. Arnold, two sisters, Ruth E. Ringhiser and Betty Ayers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. A VFW women?s auxiliary service will be held on Monday at 7:00 PM, and an Emblem Club service will be held at 7:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
