Clifford Chaney<br><br>Clifford Chaney, 76, of Carbondale, passed away Friday, September 3rd, 2004 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1928 in Athens County, Ohio the son of the late Oscar Chaney and Della Lightfritz Chaney who survives. He was married to the late Mona Blackford Chaney who passed away earlier this year.<br><br>Cliff was a Korean War veteran Army, who was a truck driver throughout life.<br><br>He is survived by three sons, David Bernadette Chaney of Nelsonville, Andy Helen Chaney of Redtown, and Bruce Chaney of Carbondale, eight grandchildren, Robert and Jamie Sears, Andrea and Darin Trippier, Benjamin, Michael, Tony, and Nickolas Chaney, Jenn and Ashley Sears, four great grandchildren, and a brother, Ralph Janet Chaney of New Marshfield<br><br>Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville. Internment will be at New Marshfield Cemetery. Military honors will be preformed by the Athens County Combined Color Guard. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.<br> <br>
