Linda Joyce Keeney

Linda Stalling Keeney, 60, of Nelsonville, passed away in her home Monday, October 4, 2004. She was born June 7, 1944 in Athens County, the daughter of the late Raymond and Susan Manning Stalling.

She is survived by her children, Pam Mike Simms of Nelsonville, Susan Chad Gretz of Chauncey, Robert Margaret Keeney of Nelsonville, and Frank Keeney of Nelsonville, a sister Trisha Lucky McKinley of Chauncey, one brother, Jack Dorothy Stalling of Athens, seven grandchildren, Holly, Jucinda and Josh Keeney, Kaitlyne and Steven Gretz, Amanda, Nicole and Shaune Simms, one great grandson, Austin Shafer, and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Keeney, one daughter Sherry Keeney, and a sister, Arlene Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, October 8, 2004 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville, with Rev. Ivan Pullin officiating. Internment will be at Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel. Friends may call from 10 AM Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
