John Harrison Chilcote

John H. Chilcote, 63, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at his residence. He was born January 26, 1941 in Nelsonville, the son of the late Lorenzo and Cora Stufflebean Chilcote.

John is survived by three brothers, Art Dodie Chilcote of Nelsonville, Paul Gracie Chilcote of Jackson and William Patricia Chilcote of Nelsonville; two sisters, Lavada Drescher of Nelsonville and Helen Johnson of Buchtel; a daughter, Carla Chilcote of Circleville and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Delores Winchell and Vera Phillips; a brother, Robert Chilcote and a special companion of more than 20 years, Nina Boltenhouse.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be at Forest Cemetery, Circleville. Friends may call Friday from 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
