Norman E. Watts Sr., 87, of Logan, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital of Logan. He was born November 6, 1917, in Fostoria, Ohio, son of the late Edward J. and Marie Kirchner Watts. He was the widower of the late Mildred Stenzel Watts. Norman was a retired Senior Engineer for General Electric in Logan. He also served in the Air Force during WWII. Norman was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the former Hocking Hills Country Club. He is survived by a son, Norman E. Watts Jr. and a daughter, Ruth Ann Watts both of Logan; a sister, Ellie Williams of Bucyrus. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Richard and James Watts; two sisters, Anna Fishborn and Edna Bradley. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m., at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, Logan, with the Rev. Katharin K. Foster, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., and also on Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church.
