Winifred Elizabeth Glenn, 87 of Logan passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. She was born December 1, 1916 daughter of the late John D. and Mary Winifred Hall Amnah. She was the widow of Forest Glenn who passed way January 7, 1990.

Elizabeth was a former employee of G. C. Murphy Co. and the Shake Shoppe. She was a 50-year member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and had been a member of the choir for twenty-five years.

During her life, Elizabeth was active in many organizations. She was the past president of Woman of the Church, Lutheran Welfare League, Parent Teachers Association in Logan and Columbus City Schools, Twig I Auxiliary of Hocking Valley Community Hospital. She had been an active and associate member of Twig II for forty years.

Surviving are three sons, Steven Glenn of Lancaster, Nolan Amy Glenn of Logan and Carmen Rhonda Glenn of Columbus, Indiana, two daughters Mary Frances Howard Sigler of Logan and Marcella Rammell of Newark, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, two brothers John Amnah of Glouster and James Judy Amnah of Logan.

Preceding her in death are two brothers, an infant brother and Charles Amnah, two sisters Betty Bauman and Helen Riddlebarger, one grandson Steven A. Glenn II, and a son in law Michael Rammell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday December 4, 2004 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 258 E. Hunter St., Logan with Rev. Paul Elhard officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St. Logan and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the services.

The family suggest that contributions be made to the St. Matthew Lutheran Church 258 E. Hunter St. Logan, Ohio 43138.
