Betty J. Taylor

Betty J. Taylor, 57, of New Straitsville, passed away Monday, January 3, 2005, at Mount Carmel West Hospital, Columbus.
She was born December 7, 1947, in Columbus, daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Jean Frizzell. She was married to Donald Taylor of New Straitsville.
Betty was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a born again Christian and a good Christian witness.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, William Brumfield of New Straitsville; one daughter, Lillie Jean Brumfield of New Straitsville; five grandchildren; two brothers, David Paxton of Arkansas and John Cathy Jones of Columbus; two sisters, Wendy Jim Ribel of Fairmont, WVa. and Marty of Texas; cousin Marti Bruce Colegrove of Galloway; mother-in-law, Mary Taylor of Logan; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by a grandson Michael D. Brumfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Pastor Tom Shank Jr. and Pastor Tom Walz, officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
