Rudolph James Riggs

Rudolph ?Rudy? James Riggs, 77, of Rockbridge, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.
He was born November 15, 1927, in Hocking Co., son of the late Lester and Theresa Daubenmire Riggs. He was married to Donna Lee Kline Riggs of Rockbridge.
Rudy served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and also was a retired roofer.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Rudolph J. Melissa Riggs of Lancaster, Randall J. Kendra Riggs of Carroll and Rawn Marsha Riggs of Rockbridge; one stepson, Robin Grove of Rockbridge; four grandchildren, Rawnie, Josie, Ryan and Trevor; two step grandchildren, Robbie and Joey; one brother, Ralph Marjorie Riggs of Columbus; one sister, Margerite McGrady of Rockbridge; three half brothers, Wiley Mary Lou Riggs, Earl Donna Riggs both of Logan and William Donna Riggs of Northaven, Conn.; two half sisters, Eura Kenneth Thompson and Cheryl Ronald Huffines both of Logan.
He is preceded in death by a brother Russell Riggs and a sister Mary Lego.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with the Rev. Margerite McGrady, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11a.m. until time of service.
