Flora Faye Lechleidner

September 15, 1918 — January 10, 2005

Flora Faye Lechleidner, 86, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, January 10, 2005 at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak, Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born September 15, 1918 in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter Owen and Nellie Whaley Headley. She was the widow of the late Charles Lechleidner.

Flora and her husband managed Walters Five and Dime for many years and she was a clerk and bookkeeper at Foster?s Pharmacy for many years, until it closed. She attended the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church and was a member and treasurer of the Ladies Venice Class. She was also a member of the former Rebecca Lodge, Nelsonville.

She is survived by one son, Charles Vincent Lechleidner of Lancaster; one daughter, Mary Annette Lechleidner of Royal Oak, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Flora was preceded in death by one sister, Fannie and five brothers, Kermit, Evan, Earl, Kenneth and Donald.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street Nelsonville with Pastor Michael Thomas officiating. Internment will be at Connett Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
