Joe U. Johnson

Joe U. Johnson, 85, of Logan passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at Logan Health Care Center, Logan. He was born June 4, 1919 son of the late John and Leona Boal Johnson. He was married to the late Hazel Bownes Johnson.

Joe was retired from Harry Wolsky Stairbuilder, a WWII Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Tim Linda Johnson of Logan, Jim Teresa Johnson of Logan and Don Marilyn Johnson of Logan; ten grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are two daughters Connie McMunn and Nancy Williams and one son Jerry Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St. Logan. with Rev. Gerald Frazee officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St. Logan. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Veterans Burial Detail of Hocking County.
