Evelyn Nancy Johnson

Evelyn Nancy Johnson, 86, of Logan, passed away Friday, February 18, 2005, at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home of Logan.
She was born May 21, 1918, in New Straitsville, daughter of the late Robert Logan and Elizabeth Ronald Begland Essex. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl T. ?Stine? Johnson.
She was a member of St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, charter member of the Emblem Club, founding member of the Rainbow School, member of Twig 3, hospital volunteer, Red Cross volunteer and also an avid bowler and golfer.
She is survived by two sons, Robert T. Cheryl Johnson of Mesa, Arizona and Richard ?Pink? Jeanette Johnson of Logan; two daughters, Suellen James Wilder of Logan and Elizabeth ?Bitzy? Steve Morgan of New Albany; ten grandchildren, Gina Kelly, Scott Johnson, Hillary Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Alissa Johnson, Jennifer Konomos, Chuck Cloyd, Matt Morgan and Stevie Morgan; seven great grandchildren; she is also survived by countless friends and family to numerous to mention.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Nancy Johnson, two brothers, Ronald and Robert Essex.
Memorial services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with the Rev. Deacon Bill Bales, officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
