James E. Basenback

James E. Basenback Sr., 65, of Logan, passed away Monday, February 28, 2005, at his residence.
He was born April 18, 1939, in Greenup, Kentucky, son of the late William E. Basenback and Justine Maddox Basenback Brumfield. He was married to Cheryl Eck Basenback of Logan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Mathew Julie Basenback of Georgia, Christopher Lauren Basenback of Pennsylvania, Mark Lori Basenback of Pennsylvania and James Basenback Jr. of Columbus; one daughter, Andrea Wilbur Dexter of Logan; three stepchildren, Cherokiee Mike Inman, Jerri Corbin and Charlene Kermit Berry all of Logan; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Dova Wilson of Kitts Hill, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Chaplin Karl Hartmann, officiating. At James request his body will be cremated following services.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and also one hour prior to services.
Military services will be performed by the Combined Veterans of Hocking County.
